UN Carries Out Controlled Explosions in Lebanon... Fireworks Show?

I would have thought they were having a fireworks show, but nah, fireworks are banned in southern Lebanon per the UN resolution 1701. Whatever could those blue berets be up to?

A series of explosions was heard in some northern communities along the border with Lebanon.
