Touchdown!

No this is not a celebratory post about last week's single Lions touchdown of the year, this morning the space shuttle Atlantis landed safely.

Via Pajamas Media:
Space shuttle Atlantis has made a pre-dawn landing here after a successful 12-day construction mission to the orbiting International Space Station. The shuttle touched down at Kennedy Space Center at 6:21 am (1021 GMT) Thursday, in the space shuttle program’s 15th nighttime landing in Florida.

“Welcome back, Congratulations on return,” NASA communicator Tony Antonelli told the Atlantis crew as they ground to a halt on the runway. “It’s nice to be back,” answered Atlantis Commander Brent Jett, who piloted the third shuttle mission since the 2003 Columbia disaster that killed seven astronauts.
